COJGA Announces New Logo and Website Launch

BEND, OREGON, May 13, 2019 — The Central Oregon Junior Golf Association (COJGA) announced today the launch of its newly redesigned website (www.cojga.org) and new brand identity, revealing a significant visual transformation since the non-profit organization’s founding over 26 years ago. The completely revamped website features a modern appeal, improved functionality and access to information, and a greatly simplified player registration system by integrating GolfGenius™, one of the most popular software solutions for tournament management.

Registration for COJGA's 2019 season officially opens today: cojga.golfgenius.com

"We are very excited about our new look and website, helping us to better inform the public about our group and connect with more junior golfers in the community," said Ben Greenough, COJGA’s Board president. "Our mission remains the same as always: to help participating boys & girls 'Grow With Golf,' and I believe our tournament programs will attract young players who want more opportunities to have fun and improve their game through competition.”

COJGA’s new logo and website design, along with plans for increased promotional efforts including stronger partnerships with golf clubs & professionals, will provide the organization with more consistent messaging and greater recognition. The new branding reflects a group that is reestablishing itself as a leading resource for junior golfers while remaining committed to its mission.

"I became familiar with COJGA when my daughters participated in the program and I recognized the group as a diamond in the rough,” said Dietrich von Behren, COJGA board member who led the organization’s rebranding and website relaunch. “With nearly three decades of serving the community, there’s a lot of history and value to what they offer and I wanted to help COJGA modernize and grow, becoming more widely recognized for the group's work. It was a pleasure to develop a more contemporary look for COJGA, designed to appeal to and reach a wider audience of youth who are interested in golf.”

COJGA’s new website will be updated frequently with tournament news, competition highlights, photos and blog posts. Junior golfers (boys & girls, ages 6-17) and their parents are encouraged to explore the website and sign up for COJGA newsletter. The community can now also find COJGA on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

For those who support COJGA's mission to facilitate fun and healthy competition and share the passion for junior golf, the non-profit association is seeking donors and sponsors for the 2019 season.
