Volunteer
Thanks for your interest in volunteering with COJGA! Our events run on community support and we’re grateful you’re here. Click the links below to sign up for a shift that works for you. We’ll be in touch the week before each event to confirm details.
Volunteer Roles
Registration
Be the friendly first face our players see. You’ll check golfers in at registration and make sure they know where to thank the golf shop staff, warm up, and when and where to report for their starting hole.
Marshal/Snacks/Water
You will be our eyes and ears on the course to ensure that everyone is playing at appropriate pace, staying hydrated and keeping their blood sugar balanced. Snacks are important!
Rules Official
Added eyes and ears for conduct, etiquette, etc. and making rulings based on situations that arise. A working knowledge of the Rules of Golf and being able to navigate the USGA Rules App is required.
Scoring
Assist at the scoring table to confirm scores with players at the completion of the round.
